We have been printing personalised wallpapers for 20 years now. This adhesive backed product is by far the easiest wallcovering material to fit that we have ever produced.
We will produce in strips, to a maximum of 1 metre wide, to suit the design and width of your wall space.
It is advised that you seal your wall with a good quality interior wall sealer. Click here for our recommended sealer product
You will need the following equipment:
- Safe step ladders
- Spirit level
- Pencil
- Blade - scalpel or Stanley knife
- NO PASTE IS REQUIRED
Simply fit in the same way as you would fit a standard wallpaper but remove the backing paper and overlap the joins. Suggested method as follows:
1. Lay out each wallpaper strip in order, mark the backing paper in number order with a pen to easily identify each strip and then roll back up.
2. We recommend fitting from left to right. Measure the width of the first strip on your wall and using your spirit level, establish a vertical plumb line and draw on the wall in pencil.
3. On a clean surface or floor, turn the first piece over and remove around 2 feet of the backing paper from the top of the strip. Fold back and crease the backing paper at right angles.
4. Offer up the top right of the wallpaper strip onto the plumb line, leaving around 50mm overlap at the top of the strip (each strip will be printed with 100mm overlap top and bottom).
5. Smooth down gently with the applicator, which will be supplied with your printed wallcovering, keeping hold of the remaining backing paper underneath.
6. Once happy with the position, slowly pull away the backing paper in small sections and smooth down the remaining wallcovering until you reach the bottom.
7. Trim the wallpaper top and bottom and on the left, into the corner/recess.
8. Repeat the process with each subsequent wallpaper strip, but overlap left to right onto the previous strip (your wallpaper will come with 20mm repeat image overlap).
9. Go over the whole wall with the applicator provided to smooth down all the joins.
10. Sit back and enjoy your transformed wall space!
