Full support is available between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday - Thursday, 8.30am and 4.30pm, Friday on 01723 363732. Alternatively you can e-mail us at production@adverset.co.uk with your query.

In the meantime, here are some FAQ’s on our large format products:

How do I supply my own artwork?

Visit our artwork page. You will find instructions and templates here which are aimed at saving you time when setting up your artwork.

What is the lead time on orders?

Your order will be delivered as standard 5-7 working days from the date of artwork approval. Alternatively you can choose our Express Delivery service which guarantees despatch within 3 days of artwork approval.

How is delivery charged?

Your delivery charge will depend on the weight and size of your goods. However the majority of orders normally weigh between 5 and 20 kilos, and will fall into our £12.00 standard delivery charge. Smaller goods (gift wrap for example) will be less.
Our Express Delivery 3-day guaranteed service, carries an additional charge specified when selected on the product page.

Your delivery charge will be shown at order stage BEFORE placing your order.

Can I pick up my products and save delivery charge?

Of course, just choose the ‘Collect’ option during the order process and the delivery charge will be set to zero. We will then store the goods for you until it is convenient for you to collect.

Are all products produced in-house?

Yes. We have our own wide format digital printing equipment, laminators, precision cutting and mounting equipment, along with qualified staff. Because everything is produced in-house, we can monitor quality and service a lot closer.

Do adverset display products conform to health and safety regulations?

Yes, all the substrate materials used carry the appropriate fire certificate and all banner stand/pop-up stands conform to UK regulations.

Are adverset display products eco friendly?

Caring and assisting the environment is high on the agenda at adverset. We are dedicated to continual improvements in our approach to minimising waste, encouraging recycling and improving our carbon footprint. Wherever possible, our policy is to use recycled products, or those from a sustainable source. Most of our substrate stocks are FSC accredited which means they are guaranteed by the Forestry Stewardship Council to being obtained from a sustainable source. Read more on our green policy.

Do adverset produce other display products which are not featured on the site?

Yes, whilst we aim to make every product available on-line, some products require a briefing and a conversation to analyse requirements. Our policy is to not restrict customers to on-line purchasing. We are more than happy to take orders on the phone, or indeed face to face. There are also many variations of products which are available upon request.

Will the colours on my display product be accurate to the original?

Our wide format printers are calibrated to match the Euro standard output of a litho printing press and as such they should be very accurate to the original if it is supplied digitally. However with the CMYK printing process, which is the worldwide standard for producing display work, physically certain colours cannot be reproduced exactly as the original. Well known 'difficult colours’ are vibrant oranges or lime greens, but generally this is unnoticeable. Please note: When you are looking at your proof on screen, the image you see uses transmissive light and therefore your finished printed product may be visually different in colour to this. However this is negligible.

A NOTE ABOUT SHARPNESS
Remember that regarding sharpness, everything that is produced as display work is more than likely enlarged by a large percentage. It is therefore important to have a sharp original. Remember if you are blowing up an image by 500% any out of focus or blurred points will be exaggerated by 5 times.

Can I come and visit the adverset production facility?

Absolutely, all visitors are welcome - as long as you call in advance. A tour of the facilities can be very useful for both parties and there is a lot that can be learnt from viewing the products as they are being made. The coffee is always on!

Can I re-order graphics for a pop-up stand or pull-up banner?

Yes, we can print a new set of graphics at any time and there is an option to order reprinted panels/graphics on the on-line order form, or of course you can just call us. Banner graphics should not really wear or suffer damage, the normal reason for a re-order would be to change the design of the banner.

On a pop-up stand we would supply you with the graphics complete with magnetic tape and hangers in place.

Who do I contact if I receive my order and there is a problem with it?

We would like to think that this would not happen, but in this eventuality you can e-mail production@adverset.co.uk or simply contact us by phone and ask for production. Our quality control team will arrange the product to be collected. They will then inspect the product and providing we are at fault you will receive a replacement order as soon as we can turn it around.

Are display products VATABLE?

Yes, all products carry VAT at the current rate. But remember if you are a business with a turnover of over £81,000 per annum you will be elegible to be VAT registered and can claim the VAT content back.
