Custom Print Recommendations
Unsure what dimensions to go for? Our technical guide may provide some pointers but here is a general guide on what we would recommend for outdoor and indoor spaces:
Outdoor Posters:
- For Poster Frames & 'A' Boards (Short Life): Printed on 170g Blue Back Paper, ideal for short-term outdoor use and billboarding.
- For Poster Frames & 'A' Boards (Long Life, Waterproof): Printed on 180-micron Waterproof Polypropylene Paper, designed for durability and long-term outdoor use.
Indoor Posters:
- For Small Quantities: Printed on 225g Photobase Paper for a premium, high-quality finish.
- For Larger Quantities: Choose between 170g White Back Paper or Blue Back Paper for cost-effective indoor use.
**Please note posters over 1.5m in both dimensions will be delivered in sections for client assembly**

Samples are available for our four poster paper types: 170g blue back, 170g white back, 225g gloss or silk photobase and 180mic Waterproof polyprop paper.

Custom Poster Prints Fitting
Our blue back poster material is opaque and especially designed for billboarding, but can be used in any other application and is a good multi-purpose poster paper.
Hang or fit your custom posters into poster shells, bus shelter schemes or poster units.
We also offer a range of pavement signs and poster units. Most exterior units, however robust, will eventually let in moisture. There are therefore 2 options for materials for posters which are to be placed into outdoor poster units or frames, as follows:
- Short life poster campaigns: We recommend 170g blue back poster paper where the campaign is fairly short term.
- Long life poster campaigns: 165mic Waterproof solvent lightblock material will endure many months in an outdoor poster unit and is worth the extra cost. We therefore recommend this for lengthier campaigns.
