Wall Graphic Vinyl Displays - Fitting
Vinyl for brick and breeze block walls is ideal for portraying grafitti or 'paint-style' images. The vinyl adheres to all of the characteristics of the brick work giving the image a style of its' own.
To fit the vinyl, you should treat it like any other vinyl in the first instance and following the following instruction tips:
- Lay each piece of vinyl in position and tab with masking tape, as per any other normal vinyl material.
- Carefully remove the backing and gently smooth the vinyl onto the wall area. Do not press fully, placing in position is enough at this stage.
- Use a heat gun and test the temperature on a small area of vinyl. Once you are confident that the temperature is affecting the vinyl without overheating and melting the material, work on small areas, heat the vinyl and press into the brickwork and grooves.
- Note: for the rendered part of the breeze blocks or bricks and for more rugged parts a rubber roller is recommended. Use this to push the vinyl into each area with the help of the heat gun.
- We will print each piece of vinyl with an overlap on one edge. If you are joining several pieces to form one design/graphic, position and overlap each section of vinyl as per normal and use the heat gun as previous.
